I bought a Bible today. I had planned to go to Barnes and Noble and before I got there, I felt and urge to buy a Bible. I’m the biggest religion skeptic there is; I believe in God, heaven and hell, but I don’t believe in attending church every Sunday, praying every night, and cleansing my sins through the Lord. To me, religion is one step short of a cult. For some reason, however, I feel like I need to read the Bible. Could I possibly be changing my mind about religion? Who knows. If nothing else, I’ll learn some important life lessons. Maybe God is speaking to me, and telling me that I need Christianity in my life. I have no idea. All I know is, I’m excited to start reading, and that befuddles me the most.
